Pottery
“I could be working but if I am totally in my work I’m playing.” -Jeff Bridges
Lately, my pottery practice has lead me on an investigation of form and surface. Creating forms with my intuitive sense of aesthetics and combining surface techniques to complement and enhance the form. I have been working to gain a sense of my personal style.
I am also interested in how glazing can activate the surface of an object. I experiment with new glaze combinations all the time. I consciously give myself creative freedom in the studio to discover new approaches and techniques.
